About Red Bean
Traditional Korean Bingsu (shaved ice), Bungeoppang (fish shaped pastry), Hodugwaja (walnut pastry) & Refreshing Drinks
Red Bean is an asian dessert in Newhall, California. It is listed at 23120 Lyons Ave #5, Newhall, CA 91321, which places it among the local businesses of Newhall that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Hours at these spots often run into the evening, later than a typical coffee shop, and many stay open on weekends when demand is highest in Newhall. Seasonal and limited-time drink or dessert flavors are common, so a shop's current menu can differ from what is posted online; checking recent photos or calling ahead helps. Some locations in California are dessert-only with no seating, meant for takeout, while others have cafe-style seating for staying a while. Straws for bubble tea are typically wide to accommodate the toppings, and are provided automatically unless you ask for a regular one. Loyalty apps and stamp cards are common at chain locations, and ordering ahead through an app can shorten a wait considerably at busy locations during peak after-school and after-dinner hours.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 amβ10 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Red Bean at (661) 200-3248; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is clover.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Customers rate it 4.9 out of 5 on Google across 54 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded asian desserts in Newhall.
Newhall is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Newhall follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Stopped by on a warm day and was so glad I did! The shaved ice was refreshing, flavorful, and not overly sweet. The shop itself is adorable and has such a fun, cheerful vibe. Great customer service and a perfect treat for both kids and adults. Highly recommend! π§

Great Snow Bingsu, but disappointing Taiyaki. * βSnow Bingsu: The bingsu was the soft snow-flake style, and it was pretty good. Decent quality and definitely worth the price. * βTaiyaki: At $18 for 20 pieces, it felt a bit overpriced for what it was. The biggest issue was the fillingβthere was barely any inside, and it felt like 90% batter. Also, it didn't seem freshly made upon order. It felt like they served pre-made ones because both the inside and outside were completely cold, losing that warm, crispy texture you'd expect. βIβd come back again just for the bingsu, but the taiyaki definitely needs some improvement.

Red Bean was a great place to stop for dessert after lunch. Their menu does a nice job adapting traditional Korean bingsu (shaved ice dessert) to American tastes while still keeping the original flavors and style. The interior is clean and comfortable. We ordered the Injeolmi, Mango, and Matcha bingsu, and the large size was more than enough for two people to share. A perfect place to cool down on a hot day and enjoy refreshing Korean-style desserts.

Great place to grab a little summery dessert! The mango bing su was just the right amount of cold sweetness on a hot afternoon. The woman at the counter was super friendly. Our daughter really enjoyed the dessert π

Pretty good Korean shaved ice and drinks/ades. Very light and refreshing. Quality ingredients and made with care. Takiyaki was good. Tight parking spots.

Finally, a Korean Bingsu and bung-o-ppang mom-and-pop cafe in Santa Clarita!!! Located at Lyons and Wayman (across the street from OLPH Church), I've been here a few times now. Usually, I have four pieces of bite-size bung-o-ppang, two filled with red bean, the other two filled with custard. Sometimes, I have the strawberry Bingsu. They certainly deliver whenever I go there....a very welcoming atmosphere, quick and efficient service, and delicious treats. Many more visits to come!! κ°μ¬ν©λλ€~~
